The complimentary booklight can light a 400 square foot room. Bottled water not included
Doh! There's a deep recession going on, with no end in sight. But there is a light gleaming as a bastion of hope at the end of the tunnel. Said light which gleams is the Snuggie Complimentary Booklight.
The Complimentary Booklight is perfect for Spelunking
The Snuggie commercial so eloquently reminds us that wearing the Snuggie helps lower your heating bills. What goes unmentioned is that you can lower your electric bill by illuminating your home with the Complimentary Booklight. Travis has found that he can light a 400 square foot room with a single booklight. Travis is a textbook example of the 21st Century Snuggie Survivalist. He has everything he needs: Snuggie, Water, Shelter, and Booklight.
We previously noted the Snuggie Gang Sign Phenomenon in our Snuggie Gangland Collection - the inexplicable desire to flash gang signs while wearing a Snuggie. Besides this curiousity, others react to the Snuggie by raising their arms. Once one is free from the bondage of the blanket, the arms are sure to rise. Can I get an amen?
Two popular poses are "The Moses", exhibited by Bryan (pictured above), and the "Happy Little Crop Duster" modeled by Phoenix, below.

Jaime is not only lowering his heating bills, he is penning his first Snuggie Movement..."Ode to Snuggie - A Concerto in B-Flat Minor".
We asked Jaime to explain his inspiration for writing "Ode to Snuggie". After he pondered this for several minutes, he finally found the words:
"The piece conveys my inner feelings about the Snuggie. I simply cannot express the joy I feel when I'm in my Snuggie. I think if I had to pick just one word to describe that special feeling I get, it would be 'Warm Fuzzy'....shoot, that's two words! Ahh! This is so hard. But what is art other than hard? Ok, you have me cornered. That word would be 'Snuggie-licious'. It resonates, you know?"

Deejay and Janelle cozy up to a good book in their Snuggies. Their complimentary booklight make the words pop off the page. "Syphilis a synopsis" is a real page-turner even without the complimentary booklight. Not to give away the book's ending, but it doesn't end well.

When this photo came in, I thought we had our first Snuggie Flash Mob. Upon further review, these Snuggie fans are the McNeely family. They simply could not contain their joy. When there are this many Snuggies in the room, the 'warm fuzzies' grow exponentially. In a matter of moments, they all broke down the facade and let their true Snuggie selves shine through.

We have our first Air Guitar Hero. Her name is Samantha, and her chops are so good, she plays Lefty Flip...just like Jimi Hendrix. It's hard to determine from her hand positions whether she is playing "Snuggie Haze" or "The Wind Cries Snuggie".
Also just like Hendrix is her propensity to set her air guitar on fire after her performances. Poof! Air guitar gone.

When we last saw Bridget in her Snuggie Buffet Adventure, she wound up in the Doctor's Office, thanks to a helping of Tabouli that had turned. While she recovered, our heroine made an impulse buy, opting this time for the Green Snuggie. As soon as she was able, she wore it to a restaurant (albeit not the eatery with the tainted tabouli).

Sarah and Brittany\'s First Snuggie Banjo Gig - Snuggie Deliverance
It was a festive time at the Park Ridge Cul-de-Sac as Sarah and Brittany, a.k.a. "Snuggie Deliverance", entertained the neighbors and a handful of Fed-Ex and UPS drivers delivering last minute gift packages on Christmas Eve. This girl group chose to stick with a Snuggie theme, highlighting only a handful of the cornucopa of benefits befitting the Snuggie. Their three song set included:
Song 1: "Pyromania" by Def Leppard
Song 2: "Greensleeves" (originally entitled "A New Northern Dittye of the Lady Greene Sleeves" - circa 1580) (Editor's Note: This was an especially bold choice, considering they wore Blue Snuggies).
Song 3: "It's Getting Hot in Herre" by Nelly
Sarah strummed her Banjo while Brittany provided interpretive dance. The set was such a success that several concert-goers waved their complimentary booklights overhead.
Ethel Bumbridge, who lives across the street and previously had not left her home since Reagan's first term, joined the crowd as the final notes were played. Faintly over the hushed gathering, with tears in her eyes, she exclaimed, "You can't do that in a blanket...God bless us. Everyone."
The Snuggie is one-size-fits-all. Lilly can move freely, play with her mobile and stay warm and cozy inside. Thanks, Gina for letting us share your little Baby Snuggie with the world.
